So thank you for DM-ing me! I want to tell you that I know you aspire to become a doctor because of a genuine desire to help others and make a positive impact on people's lives.

Pursuing a career in medicine can be a rigorous and demanding journey. Medical school involves extensive studying, long hours, and high levels of stress. BUT, it is also incredibly rewarding. Just be prepared for continuous education and adapting to new advancements in the field.

To work your way towards medical school, you should focus on excelling academically, particularly in science and math courses. Gaining relevant experience is important, so seek opportunities to volunteer or work in healthcare settings, such as hospitals or clinics.

Shadowing doctors and engaging in research projects can bolster your applications. Also, performing well on standardized tests like the SAT and participating in extracurricular activities that demonstrate leadership and commitment will strengthen their candidacy for top-tier colleges and, eventually, medical school.

Our habits have such a big impact on our lives, but we don’t really pay attention to them as much as we should. Our lives are essentially the sum of our habits. Every small action we perform regularly adds up, creating a pattern that defines our daily existence.

When we want to make changes, we always think big but it always feels so overwhelming. What most of us don’t realize is that small, consistent actions can lead to significant improvements. I personally know that this works!

Habits also create predictability in our lives. When we have consistent habits, we know what to expect, which reduces uncertainty and stress. This reliability helps us feel more in control of our lives, making us feel a sense of order and safety.
