I’m thrilled to announce an upcoming event at the prestigious Fitler Club that promises to be both inspiring and educational. On Thursday, April 24, 2024, join us for a screening of the documentary film, Brave Blue World, which shines light on addressing the global water crisis. Doors will open at 6 p.m. at Fitler Club, located at 24 S. 24th St., Philadelphia, PA 19103.

The evening kicks off with refreshments and brief remarks by Stroud Water Research Center Executive Director Dave Arscott and Director of Development Jessica Provinski. This will set the stage for the main event: a captivating screening of Brave Blue World.

Narrated by the esteemed actor Liam Neeson, Brave Blue World explores groundbreaking technologies and innovations aimed at solving one of the most pressing issues of our time – the global water crisis. From cutting-edge scientific advancements to transformative engineering solutions, the film showcases the incredible progress being made to ensure access to clean water and safe sanitation services for all, while safeguarding our precious environment.

Brave Blue World features insights from a diverse range of experts, including actor and philanthropist Matt Damon, co-founder of, and multi-talented artist Jaden Smith, co-founder of nonprofit organization 501CThree. Their perspectives, alongside those of scientists, engineers, and activists from around the globe, paint a vivid picture of hope and possibility in the face of adversity.

Following the screening, Kimberly McGlonn of Fitler will lead a thought-provoking Q&A discussion.
